It is the season to be jolly, and nothing gets you in the Christmas mood like some festive cocktails. Here are some scrumptious cocktails to try this season.
Classic Mulled Wine
Let’s cozy up with some mulled wine. Turn on some music, build a fire or light some candles, throw some spices and wine in a pot, and embrace the holiday season. It’s really that simple.
Ingredients
1 (750-ml.) of Robert Mondavi Private Selection Pinot Noir
1 orange, sliced into rounds, plus more for garnish
6 whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks, plus more for garnish
3 star anise
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. Hennessy VSOP
Directions
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients. Bring to a simmer not a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Simmer gently over low heat for 10 minutes.
Serve warm and garnish with more citrus slices and cinnamon sticks.
Nutty Irishman
A fun nutty cocktail, Its sweetness and subtle nuttiness is the perfect partner to rich Irish cream.
Ingredients

1 1/2 oz.Bailey's Chocolat Luxe
1 1/2 oz. hazelnut syrup
1/2 tbsp.
crushed hazelnuts or graham crackers
Directions
FOR IRISH WHIPPED CREAM:
In the bowl of a stand mixer or a medium bowl with a hand mixer, whisk together cream and powdered sugar. Whip on high until stiff peaks form, then slowly add the Bailey's Irish cream. Transfer cream into a piping bag or plastic bag with a corner snipped off and chill.
FOR COCKTAIL:
In a shaker, add Bailey's Irish cream and hazelnut syrup then fill with ice. Shake until the shaker is frosty, then strain the drink into a coup. Pipe over Irish whipped cream and garnish with hazelnuts.
