Moet et Chandon Impérial (Champagne)
Light, bright yellow. Musky pear and toasty lees on the nose and in the mouth. Fleshy and open-knit, with a hint of bitter lemon pith adding back-end cut. Finishes on a gently smoky note, with very good cling and focus and a hint of bitter quinine. This must be the best example of this bottling that I've had in years, if not decades. In the past, the Imperial Brut received a dosage of 12 g/l, but no more; in fact, there's talk that in the near future it may be dropped down as far as 7 g/l.
Perrier Jouet Grand Brut (Champagne)
Silvery gold in the glass, Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is a vibrant, stylish cuvée characterized by delicate floral aromas, rounded out by fresh fruit and hints of buttery brioche and vanilla. Though crisp and light, it combines freshness with a lingeringly rich, generous finish, preserving its distinctive balance and harmony to the very end.
Paul Dangin & Fils Cuvée Carte Or (Champagne)
The territory is listed as World Heritage by UNESCO, and is taken great care of by practicing sustainable viticulture that respects the environment through Terra Vitis certification.
The Champagne has stayed for 30 months on lees and has been disgorged 6 months before being corked.
This particular lot was exclusively bottled for a high end 5-star deluxe hotel, but we've managed to get our hands on a very limited 920 bottles, and are very excited to share our discovery with you.
It feels like it is under a pale yellow dress. The effervescence stands out while lightness showing a beautiful persistence. The fine and elegant nose enhances notes of cookies and pears.
Atilius "Nobilis" Chianti DOCG (Italy)
Atilius is produced in the timeless Tuscany region of central Italy, with vineyards spread across hilly rolling valleys.
Atilius represents Tuscany and its classic Italian charms. It has a charismatic character, elegant and confident. The labeling combination of black and silver colors demonstrates the complexity and sophistication of the brand’s richness in every drop.
Antinori Tignanello Toscana (Italy)
Wonderful aromas of pine needles, rosemary, fresh mushrooms, bark, and dark fruit. Full body. Very tight and tannic backbone. Racy and driven. Undertones of orange peel and wet earth. Even licorice and mint. Great finish. Better after 2021, but exciting to taste now.
