Red Wine : Maxwell Four Roads Grenache - $178
Uniquely McLaren Vale. Grenache was the backbone of the wine industry here for over a century, producing mostly fortified wines. These old Grenache vines have grown for over 90 years on a contoured hill, and have seen tastes change from rich, sweet fortified to this modern, aromatic, and spicy medium-bodied Grenache.
This wine has aromatics of raspberry and red fruits with a hint of herbs. Old vine concentration. Luscious plum flavors, complex spice, and savory fruits are underpinned by gamey tones and hints of chocolate. Delicate vanilla oak and fine tannins finish an approachable wine. Pairing with Venison, macadamia, cherry.
White Wine : Greystone Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc - $188
Made by award winning organic winery Greystone in North Cantebury in New Zealand’s South Island.
Light golden in colour, this Sauvignon Blanc is rich, creamy and textural. It possesses ripe fruit flavours – a luscious mix of tropical and stone fruits – which are balanced perfectly with fruit-laden acidity. Wild fermented entirely in old French oak with Loire clones adding texture and richness. Partial malolactic contributes to soft acidity and mouth filling texture.
Rose: Mirabeau Pure Provence Rose - $198
Lovingly referred to as ‘Provence in a Glass’ our flagship rosé wine was inspired by long, languid days on the Côte d’Azur. Brilliant powdery pink colour, with violet reflexes. Clean and expressive, displaying aromas of peach, lychee, passion fruit and flint.
Delicious flavours of small red summer fruits precede an appealingly tense mouthfeel with citrus and lime. Polished and crisp. The ultimate aperitif and a perfect partner to Asian cuisine, grilled light meats and seafood. Pure pairs perfectly with fresh oysters with an orange and chorizo dressing or spicy prawn dumplings.
Sparkling : Atilius Moscato Sparkling - $98
Atilius Moscato has very fine and persistent bubbles with straw yellow and greenish reflections. Delicately sweet with fresh fruit flavours of peach, pear, and apricot balanced with gentle notes of lavender. The finish is balanced and well rounded.
Special Celebration : E.Guigal Côtes du Rhõne - $168
This wine is of consistently high quality in all vintages. Connoisseurs will enjoy its classic expression of the Syrah grape variety combined with the Grenache grape.
Expect the wine to be full, round and racy.
Rounded and smooth tannins. Rich and intensely aromatic with notes of fresh fruits with red berries and spices. Plenty of elegance and finesse due to the well-balanced tannins.
