Produced in Hyogo prefecture, home of mount Kasagata where the Noma river flows, a distinct region is known as the navel of Japan whose clear spring waters populate the area. The historical birthplace of Japan is in the stories of the Koijiki and Nihongi.
Expect vanilla and a touch of honey with a very subtle citrus undertone, counterbalanced by a clear malt nose and a touch of blossom.
A light yet well-balanced taste, the malt takes more precedence on the palate with the cedar and vanilla flavors from the white oak barrels delivering a rounded sweetness and soft finish.
