Dominique Piron’s family history in Beaujolais spans more than four centuries, with his oldest known ancestor born in Morgon in 1590. Since then, there have been 14 generations of winegrowers in the family. In a vineyard with difficult terrain - 30 % steep slopes and a virual patchwork of parcels, Dominique Piron is engaged in sustainable winegrowing. On winegrowing land filled with old broken-down granite and schist, the watchwords are natural balance and biodiversity.
The Gamy gives here aromas characterized by blackcurrant and strawberry and a beautiful structure that contributes to its elegant complexity. It is a blend of different terroirs. Slightly refreshed (14-15 °), it will go perfectly with an aperitif. Naturally light and fine, this wine can be served at informal events, lightly seasoned dishes, fish or poultry, and of course goes very well with all cold cuts.
