Manatapu is a unique label that honors Maori heritage and entwines it with wine culture and drinking occasions, breaking away from existing notions of what a standard wine should be. “Mana”, meaning extraordinary power, essence or presence, and “Tapu”, meaning sacred or the strongest force in Maori life, the brand showcasing Maori Art fused with modern calligraphy.
Their Pinot Noir comes from Hawke’s Bay, the oldest wine region in New Zealand. A light-medium bodied wine with soft tannins, the wine has primary aromas of fresh wild raspberry, blueberry, plum and brambly spice undertones, ample fruitiness yet reserved with a delicate spice that can develop deeper forest-floor and earthy characters with bottle age.
ABV: Depending on vintage | Bottle Size: 750ml
